Parenting a college student brings new experiences, major milestones, and sometimes daunting challenges.  At Columbus State University, your student can pursue his/her intellectual and social growth safely and freely while obtaining a first-class education.  Your student can remain grounded in the values he/she learned from you at home.  One of our top priorities here at Columbus State University is to ensure that parents feel part of the CSU community at every step. We’re dedicated to partnering with you to make your student’s experience here at CSU as successful and rewarding as possible.

Since you play a significant role in your child’s success at CSU, we have devoted significant resources to make you aware of key events and activities in your child’s college career: for example, admissions, financial aid and scholarships, student activities and class registration. And, we have special programs for parents as well as a parents association to enhance communication with you throughout the year.

Whether you a parent of a perspective student or a graduating student, we encourage you to explore and get involved in many of our services, programs and activities, designed to help you advance your students experience while here at CSU.
